The Case for Whole Food Nutrition

What they failed to mention is that it's been estimated that around 90% of the nutritional value of most manufactured supplements is passed through your body without being utilized. So, not only do you not get the benefit of the supplements you take - you waste most of your money in the process.

And many synthetic supplements are known to actually strip absorbable vitamins and minerals right out of your body leaving you even more depleted. So it's vital you choose a nutritional source that really supports cell function and is easily absorbed.

But it's not just vitamins and minerals you need.

Diabetes, Heart Disease, Cancer, Stroke, Arthritis, Osteoporosis and Alzheimer's Disease - The top seven deadly diseases in the United States all have one factor in common - free radical damage at the cellular level.

  • An increase in heart disease and cancer, with no early warning signs, has made them the number I and 2 causes of death. Almost half the deaths in the USA are caused by cardiovascular diseases. And 50% of men and 33% of women get cancer, and 8O% of them die of it.

Until now, we've been told that physical deterioration is just a natural part of aging or genetics and that "You'll just have to learn to live with it"

So it's not suprising that skin care products outsell health products at department stores. If we can't feel good, we may as well look good.

Also, as many people use the terms 'Diet' and 'Nutrition' interchangeably it's also not suprising that attitudes to what is or isn't beneficial for the body is confused.

In fact...

  • Diet is what you eat
  • Digestion is what your body breaks down into useable components
  • Absorption is what passes through the intestinal wall into your bloodstream
